Can I change my oil myself?

No. Your vehicle's motor oil has to be changed at a commercial facility with verifiable receipts. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted.

What should I do in the event of a claim?
A.

Call 800-790-1247 for assistance. You will be asked to take your vehicle to an ASE Certified shop or technician for preliminary inspection. Do not authorize disassembly of any component before repair facility or technician has called Autosave.

Will Autosave pay for towing?
A.

Autosave will reimburse you up to $75 towing expenses for any authorized covered repair.

Q.

Will Autosave cover the cost of my rental vehicle?
A.

Autosave will reimburse you up to $100 for rental car expenses on authorized covered repair.


Q.

How often do I need to have my oil changed?
A.


Every 4 months or 6,400 KM, whichever occurs first. (Receipts will need to be produced in event of a claim.)

Yes. Transfers are decided on a case by case basis, after reviewing maintenance records and other pertinent information.

Yes, but only if prior authorization has been given by Autosave claims department.

When will I receive my Autosave Product and what do I do with it?

You will receive your Autosave Product within 30 days of receipt of your contract. If you purchased your warranty over 45 days ago and have not gotten your Autosave Product, please contact your selling dealer to verify they have forwarded your warranty to us.
